Terms of service

The agreement between you and us

These terms govern ordering a website on Professional ID, holding one, and what happens when one ends. If a clause here is unclear, that is a fault worth telling us about.

Effective 20 August 2026
01

Who you are contracting with

Professional ID is operated by ROPOTVS SRL, a company registered in Romania under CUI 54341830, Reg. Com. J2026020043003, with its registered office at Str. Fântânilor 43, bl. B14, ap. B39, 700337 Iași, județul Iași.

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company. “You” means the person ordering or holding a website. You can reach us at office@professional.id.

02

What you are buying

What you buy is the website for your professional identity: one page that does a whole website’s job. Who you are, what you offer and what it costs, the work and the paper behind it, and one clear action for a visitor who wants to hire you. It arrives built, drafted for you from materials you send, and it is served as static files, so it loads at once and search engines can read it.

We are not a marketplace and we never stand between you and your clients. We take no commission, we rank no member above another, and no money for your services passes through us. A visitor who wants to hire you leaves for whatever channel you list, and the products you show link out to wherever you already sell. Nothing is bought or paid for on your page.

03

The plans, and what each is

  • Free, €0 forever: you host it, you manage it. You take the engine and run it on hosting of your own, at an address of your own, with full control of the files and the data. It assumes you can work with code, it comes with no support, and it covers your own website. Reselling it, building pages for other people with it, or folding it into a product of your own needs one of the paid plans.
  • Cloud, €49 a year: we host it, you manage it. No technical skill is needed, but keeping the content current stays your work.
  • Concierge, €99 a year: we host it, we manage it. You ask for changes over WhatsApp and we put them live. Three change requests are included in the year; each one after that is €19.

Cloud and Concierge carry your address at professional.id/your-name. Concierge is the only plan you can order today. Free and Cloud are announced and not yet open; when one opens, what governs it is these terms together with the conditions stated where you take it.

04

Ordering a website

An order starts as a conversation on WhatsApp. You send what you already have: links, photographs, prices, notes. We draft the page from it, in your voice, on the design every page shares. You review it, we change whatever you want changed, and nothing goes live until you say so.

To order you must be at least 18, be a real and identifiable person acting in a professional capacity, and hold the rights to the materials you send us.

We may decline an order, and where we can say why, we do. If we cannot deliver a page you approve, you are refunded in full.

05

Change requests, on the Concierge plan

Changes are asked for the same way the page was ordered: a message on WhatsApp. A change request is one message, or one conversation, covering everything you want changed in a single pass: prices that moved, a project to add, a service you stopped offering, a photograph to replace.

Three change requests are included in every year of the subscription. Each one after that is €19, agreed with you before we start it. Requests are counted inside the year and unused ones do not carry over. We work through them in the order they arrive and tell you when the change is live.

A change request cannot buy a change to the format: a design of your own, a section the vocabulary does not have, or a different order of sections. Nor does it cover anything the rules below do not allow on a page.

06

Your content, and the permission we need

Everything you write and send us stays yours. To publish it we need your permission to host, format, cache, index and display it, worldwide and without a fee, for as long as your page exists, plus a short period afterwards while backups expire. Ask us to take content down and that permission ends with it.

You are responsible for having the right to everything on the page. In particular you confirm that:

  • the photographs and video are yours to publish, and anyone recognisable in them has agreed to appear;
  • the testimonials are real, and the people quoted agreed to be quoted;
  • the marks, logos and client names you show are ones you are allowed to show;
  • the credentials you list were issued to you and say what you say they say;
  • nothing you send us infringes anybody’s rights.
07

The format belongs to the service

Every page shares one design, one vocabulary of sections and one order for them. You choose which sections appear and what goes in them; you do not choose how they look, or the order a visitor reads them in. That constraint is what makes the price possible and the pages recognisable, and it is not for sale to any member at any price.

A section comes in several designs, and switching a section from one design to another never costs you the content in it. Sections you do not need simply do not appear.

We may change the design, add a section to the vocabulary, or improve how a section renders. Changes land for every page at once.

We add nothing of our own to your page except the line that closes it: a copyright notice naming you.

08

The address, and changing it

On Cloud and Concierge a page claims one address, professional.id/your-name. Addresses are unique and lowercase, and some names are reserved for the service’s own pages. The Free plan carries no address here: you publish at an address of your own.

An address may be changed twice in the life of a page and no more: once to a second address, and once back to the first. Whichever address is not in use redirects permanently to the one that is, so paper already printed keeps working.

An address is never issued to anybody else, whether or not the page is live. We may require one to be changed if it impersonates somebody, infringes a name or mark that somebody else holds, or was taken to keep it from the person it belongs to.

09

Fees

Concierge is €99 a year, Cloud is €49 a year when it opens, Free is €0. The yearly fee covers the build, the address, the hosting and the design, and on Concierge the three change requests inside that year; further change requests are €19 each. Everyone pays the same for the same plan in the same year, and nothing a page does today is ever moved behind a surcharge later.

Prices are stated in US dollars and exclude any VAT or local tax that applies to you; where tax is due it is added at payment. Fees are collected through our payment provider, and your full card details never reach us. Every payment is invoiced, and Romanian law requires those invoices to be reported electronically to the tax authority.

We may change a price. A change is announced ahead of time and takes effect at your next renewal. It never results in two members paying different amounts for the same year of the same plan.

10

Renewal, the grace month, and coming down

A page runs for a year from the day it goes live, and renews a year at a time. We will tell you before a renewal is due.

If a renewal is not paid on the day it falls due, the page keeps running for one more month while we tell you the payment is outstanding. Pay inside that month and nothing is interrupted.

If the month passes unpaid, the page comes down and the address stops serving it. Nothing is deleted: your content, your media and your address are kept for you, and paying the fee puts the page back as it was, at the same address. Ask us to delete them and they go.

11

Refunds, and your right to withdraw

If we cannot deliver a page you approve, you are refunded in full.

If you are a consumer rather than a business, European law gives you fourteen days to withdraw from a contract made online, without giving a reason. Because we normally start building your page at once, we ask you at purchase to request that we start inside those fourteen days, and to acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once the service has been fully performed. If you make that request and then withdraw before we have finished, you pay only for what was already done.

If you would rather we did not start immediately, say so and we will wait out the fourteen days.

Apart from those cases we do not refund a year that has already begun, and a change request already carried out is not refundable. Nothing in this section affects rights the law gives you that cannot be waived.

12

Keeping the page true

Everything on your page is your own statement to your own clients, and you are responsible for it being true and staying true: a price that changed, a certificate that expired, a service you no longer offer. Correct it or take it down. On Concierge, correcting it is a message to us; on Cloud and Free it is yours to do.

Anybody may tell us that something on a page is untrue or unlawful. We look into it ourselves before anything happens to a page, because an accusation is cheap and a report from a competitor must never work as a takedown. If a claim cannot be supported and would matter to a client relying on it, we may ask you to correct it, and take the page down if it stays uncorrected. Content that is unlawful, that impersonates somebody, or that presents somebody else’s work as yours comes down without the wait.

We keep a dated note of every report and every decision. We do not publish the reason a page is not live: an address that is down answers exactly as an address that was never issued, naming nobody.

13

What you must not do

  • Claim a qualification, licence, registration or insurance you do not hold.
  • Present work you did not do, or a client you did not have, as your own.
  • Hold yourself out as somebody else, or as endorsed or recommended by us.
  • Publish content that is unlawful, that infringes somebody’s rights, or that identifies a client who did not agree to be identified.
  • Use a page as advertising for a person or business other than the one it names.
  • Resell the engine, run it as a service for other people, or fold it into a product of your own.
  • Collect the site in bulk: scraping, copying or reusing pages as a dataset.
  • Probe, attack or interfere with the service, or with another member’s page.
14

Availability

Pages are static files on a content delivery network, which is about as durable as the web gets, but we do not promise the service will never be down. We may take it offline for maintenance, and we may change or withdraw features as the product develops.

We are not responsible for interruptions caused by things outside our control, including your own connection, your payment provider, the messaging service you write to us on, or a supplier we depend on.

15

Our responsibility, and its limits

We are responsible for providing the service described here with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for what you choose to publish, for business you did not win, for clients who did not call, or for what anybody else does with information they found on your page. Where the law allows a limit, our total liability to you over any twelve months is capped at the fees you paid us in that period.

On the Free plan we host nothing and manage nothing: the engine is provided as it stands, without warranty, and what happens on your own hosting is yours.

Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights stand whatever this section says.

16

Ending the agreement

You may stop at any time by not renewing, and you may ask us at any time to delete everything we hold about you. Ask first and we send you what there is to take: your page’s content as a file, plus your media. Deletion then removes it from our systems.

We may end this agreement by taking a page down under the section on keeping it true, or if the service is used unlawfully.

When the agreement ends, the page comes down and the address stops serving it. Fees already paid for the current year are not refunded, subject to the refund section above.

17

Changes, governing law, and how to reach us

We may change these terms. Where a change matters to you we will tell you by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. Staying subscribed after that is how you accept it; if you would rather not, you may let the page run to the end of the year you have paid for.

Romanian law governs this agreement and the Romanian courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union, you keep the protections of your own country’s law and may bring a claim there.

Consumers in Romania may also contact the National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), or use an approved alternative dispute resolution body.
